Isaiah 54:1-8 Key Verse: Isaiah 54:7 "For a mere moment I have forsaken you,
But with great mercies I will gather you."
Stop trying to make something happen. The
fact that God has not moved on your timetable does not mean that you did not
hear from Him or that you missed your time and season. We often do not
understand this passage in Isaiah: "For a mere moment I have forsaken
you." God has kept many of us from moving in our destiny because it has
not been time for Him to elevate us. He has allowed us to wander for a while so
that He can bring us out at the right moment.
You need to say, "It is my
season." It is your season. God has not forgotten you; He is just
arranging some things. He has brought you back on the scene with a fresh
anointing. You have a new assignment, and you cannot be denied if you walk in
the faith that God has ordained.
Pray this prayer before you start the new
day: Lord Jesus, I forgot what time it is - it is Your time. You called me to
follow You, not lead You. Forgive me for trying to impose my timetable on Your
eternal purposes. From this day forward, I will follow You, wait upon You, and
trust in You to see me safely to destinations You have chosen. In Jesus' name,
Amen
