"'FOUR YEARS OF
COLLEGE' OR 'ONE' WORD OF KNOWLEDGE! SOME THINGS CANNOT BE TAUGHT...THEY CAN
ONLY BE CAUGHT!"

Since the attack against my heart
over a year ago, I am constantly being attacked by healing! Since that attack, I
have discovered that I now have a ministry of "full-time" breathing! I love it!
I enjoy breathing. Breathing qualifies us to be full-time worshippers! I have
often studied about healing, but lately I am learning that we can study all
about healing and still miss the Healer! We can study all about deliverance and
still miss the Deliverer! Sometimes it's not our education, but it's our
location in relation to Jesus that we find real answers. I am finally able to
enjoy hanging around with the One whose stripes have already healed me! Just to
be able to rub shoulders with the Ancient of Days strengthens my heart more than
anything else. Did you know that Jesus called many of His disciples just to be
with Him? I think Jesus knew that much of their knowledge and wisdom would
ultimately come through just being with Him. Just to be still and know that He
was God would become their greatest education on earth. The world took notice
that these unlearned men who had turned the world upside down, had been with
Jesus!
A Father's words to his children are so powerful. Before Jesus
ever entered into ministry, the heavens opened up and He heard the most powerful
words ever spoken to Him. "This is My beloved Son, in
whom I am well pleased." After that, nothing ever stopped Jesus from His purpose
and destiny. The devil couldn't. The cross became a launching pad. And after
three days in the tomb, death shouted from the grave..."We better let Him go,
His Father is coming to raise Him up!"
"Resting in Your
Father's Love For You Will Give You Revelation Like Nothing Else
Will!"
Jesus told the apostle
John something that caused John to outlast every other disciple..."As the Father
has sent Me, so send I you!" From that moment on, John had the revelation that
the Father of glory really loved him and was sending him, and John never
stopped. He became famous for being called the "beloved." He often rested on
Jesus' breast, listening to the wisdom of God in a heartbeat. John the Beloved
showed up at the cross when all the other disciples were running away in fear.
Why wasn't John afraid? Perfect love casts out all fear, even the fear of dying!
John is still found hanging around the garden tomb when Jesus was dead. John
just had a knack for hanging around the one he loved, because the One who knew
him best loved him most. It's believed that John lived to be the oldest of the
disciples and, in his older years, he ends up on the isle of
I wanted to say, "Wait a minute, John. You should be discouraged by now
and depressed." But here is John the Beloved in the Spirit. He must have really
believed that every morning he woke up that "this is the day that the Lord has
made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!" Every day was perhaps a Sabbath day for
him. Sabbath means rest. I personally believe John was on that lonely island
resting in His Father's loving arms wrapped around him and out comes oozing the
whole book of Revelation! We are still trying to study and figure that book out
and it just oozed out of John, resting in his Father's love for him.
Rest
will give you revelation! Resting in your Father's love for you will give you
revelation like nothing else will. John gets so much revelation that one church
can't hold it all; so he ends up writing to seven churches and continues to
write a whole book and names it the book of Revelation! I am not against
education, but "four years of college or one word of knowledge"? It still
matters who you know and who you hang out with. As you get to know the Father
more and spend time with Him, His wisdom and knowledge just rubs
off!
Have
You Left Your First Love?
All John can say, as he is
intoxicated with the Father's love for him and every church, is..."You have left
your first love!" I honestly use to feel guilty reading that scripture, because
I always feel I keep falling short in loving God back like I should. But John,
in his epistle, explains what love really is. He says in 1 John 4:10, "Herein
is love, not that we loved God, but that he first loved us." The Lord is
saying, "I started loving you first. Return to me for I am not finished loving
you!" Jude exhorts us to "Keep yourselves in the
love of God." Keep yourself in His love, for you and it will cause you to
naturally want to love Him in return.
1 Corinthians 13 tells us that if
we have all knowledge and have not love, we are nothing. I believe we can turn
this verse around and say..."If we have God's love we have all knowledge,
because we know the One who knows everything and He will show us great and
mighty things that we know not of."
"Your
Father is in the House!"
My daughter, Danielle,
works in a restaurant. One day she came home from work and said, "Dad, every
time I take an order from a table and take it into the kitchen to the cook, the
cook is giving me a hard time."
I said to my daughter,
"What do you want me to do?" I really wanted to do something unscriptural, but
finally agreed in prayer with her that the Lord would take care of the cook.
Long story short, the
cook is no longer there. A month went by and I forgot the incident; my daughter
was off work that day and I took my son out to eat supper at that restaurant. We
happened to sit near the kitchen. A waitress came and took our order and, as she
walked into the kitchen to give the cook our order, I overheard her say to the
cook, "Danielle's father is in the building!" (I'm glad he didn't come out to
see how tall I was...) That's all she said to him. The next day my daughter goes
to work and comes home at the end of the day. She said, "Dad, that cook is
different! He's treating me different, like he respects
me."
The
Enemy Cannot Handle a Father's Love for His Children
I want to tell you
something that hell never wanted you to know. Every time I even think of telling
someone this secret in the Spirit, I see the devil packing his luggage and
fleeing from your front door seven ways! Listen carefully..."Your Father is in
the House!" And whatever has been coming against you from the enemy, using other
people or the devil himself, your Father is going to take care of it. I just saw
the Father's foot stepping into your life, your household, your job, your
situation. I sense the Father saying to you, "Your battle is over! Your war has
ceased! I will take over from here!"
The enemy cannot handle a Father's
love for His children. It wiped him out at the cross!
Rest in your Father's love for you. Be still and know that He
is God inside of you, the hope of glory! Greater is He that is in you than he
that is in the world!
1 Corinthians 1:30
"But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto
us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification and
redemption..."
He is our all in all!
Are you hanging out with Jesus? Have you rubbed shoulders with Him
lately? Check your location. As we draw near to Him, His Holy Spirit will teach
us all things, for we have an anointing that abides.
"Your Father is in
the House!"
