John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they may know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 21 That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 And the glory which you gave to me I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them, as you have loved me. [Our unity speaks volumes to the world because it can not attain it.]

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Romans 8:29. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestine to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Romans 11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called to the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 10. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 27. Now you are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are from God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 That is, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them; and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen.

Ephesians 2:12 That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near by the blood of Christ. 14. For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; to make in himself of two one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, having by himself slain the enmity: 17 And came and preached peace to you who were afar off, and to them that were near. 18 For through him we both have an access by one Spirit to the Father. 19 Now therefore you are no more strangers and aliens, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together grows to a holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom you also are built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be joint-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Ephesians 4:3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body to the edifying of itself in love.

Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Philippians 1:5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

Philippians 2:1. If there is therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2 Fulfill you my joy, that you be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Philippians 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things to be loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them to be dung, that I may win Christ, 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his death;

Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things to himself; by him, I say, whether they are things on earth, or things in heaven. 21 And you, that were once alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Colossians 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Philemon 1:6 That the fellowship of your faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 2:11 For both he that sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 17 Therefore in all things it behooved him to be made like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which says, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed to him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

James 4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 Peter 2:5 You also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3. And by this we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

How great is God's love for us. Although we were His literal enemies, He gave His only Son so that we could be brought near and have intimate relationship with Him. Let's not take this offer lightly. Let's draw near.

God is our constant Friend, always there for us, always listening and caring about what we say, think, and feel. Let's go through each day with the constant awareness that He is waiting for our fellowship. How amazing that we can fellowship with the sovereign God of the universe. Indeed, that is why we were created. God's desire for us is to be together. One day soon, He will gather us all together to be with Him forever. Until then, let's not forsake the gathering of ourselves together with other believers, even those of different "tribes" than our own.
